What is a DUII?

DUII stands for “Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants”. In the state of Oregon, if an officer pulls you over for driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, you will be charged with a DUII.

Drunk driving is the common term for being convicted of driving or operating a vehicle while intoxicated. In Oregon, and from a more legal perspective, driving under intoxication can be due to other controlled substances or a combined influence of a substance and alcohol. Thus, Driving Under the Influence (DUI) is not the charge you will receive, but a DUII instead.

We at Another Chance recognize the consequences of driving under the influence. We are certified by the state to provide services tailored to those who received a DUII. In addition to regaining your driving privileges, our DUII program also aims to guide, support, and educate you towards living a life free of addiction.
